Oopsies...

So I was TRYING to do laundry. I'd transported one load to the dryer and put another in the washer. Easy enough, right? Well, apparently not. I accidentally locked the keys in the laundry room. You see, our laundry room is in a storage room next to our first floor patio (we have 2 patios...sqeee). Since we just bought a set of brand new washer and dryers..we lock the laundry room. My laundry room has become Ft. Knox... even I can't get in there. Lovely. So I have to wait for my husband to get home from work (with the only spare key) late tonight to finish the laundry.

Note to self: make several spare keys at Home Depot. 

From Miss to Mrs.

Well, I'm officially married! I've been married for almost 2 months in fact. It feels the exact same as being engaged. I love being married, however. I decided to start this blog to chronicle the day to day happenings of a 20 something learning to be a wife, a step mom, and eventually a mommy to be. 

So who am I? I ♥

• 20 something
• southern belle
• with a love for pearls...they are timeless...I wear them everyday 
• dark chocolate is my favorite candy
• Sundays...I live for them
• horseback riding...it's been forever since I've ridden but it is honestly the best workout ever and exhilirating...feels like you are flying
•  4 wheelers...it's the country girl in me
• flip flops...I wear them 24/7
• southern accents and manners...they make me melt...shows good upbringing
• the Carolinas...I wanna move there eventually
• OU football...I love me some BOOMER SOONER FOOTBALL
• anything outdoors or on the water etc. 
• I'm a civil servant...yep I work for the government. 
• I want to go back to school and finish my masters degree. 
• I want to travel a bit before we have kids. 
• I'm a bit OCD and a neat freak. 
• I CANNOT be late...I have a panic attack if I am. I was late to my own wedding...it was the first time where I didn't feel bad for being late. I figured they couldn't start without me. :-) 
• I love to cook and bake. I like to plant/grow things and would someday like to have a farm/land. 
• I'm obsessed with country music. There is ALWAYS a country song to suit my mood...& there are a lot of them let me tell you. 
• I CANNOT wait to be a mommy.
